Opal Fibre Packaging have an opportunity available to join our corrugated packaging national key accounts team as a key account manager, based at our Revesby, NSW site.
This role will be responsible for a major national key account, with sites nationwide, and will support the interface between operations, supply chain, customer service and the customer. You must have the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally, with key Opal stakeholders and within your customer accounts, to manage projects, deliver results, improve sales and increase margins.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Building, growing and fostering strong customer relationships
- Understanding the customer needs to ensure Opal solutions meet their requirements and assist where possible to continuously improve customer service, value engineering, margin improvement and share of wallet opportunities
- Coordinating technical support, value engineering audit, quotes and samples to present to customer in the generation of customer solutions, innovation projects or value engineering projects
- Looking for every opportunity for cross divisional selling, support and coordination and upselling to customers without compromising the position of existing solutions

- Experience working in a major or key account management role in a similar industry
- The ability to develop strong working relationships at multiple levels of an organisation
- Well-developed strategic focus and proven track record of success managing a major national account
- The ability to work in a high profile busy role and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven experience managing projects and processes to strict deadlines
